and office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. VILLAGE RECREATION CENTER ACTIVITIES The Village's Recreation Campus is the home of some great
activities including Bocce Club. The
bocce court is located next to the recreation office. Karate and table tennis located in the
Recreation Center at 348 Post Avenue.
Boxing instruction in the Phipps Gym located at 346 Post Avenue. We also
sponsor an after-school program for Village residents and Summer Recreation
Program (open to residents and non-residents) in partnership with Westbury
Arts, a local arts non-profit in the Recreation Center. VILLAGE COMMUNITY CENTER ACTIVITIES The Village's Community Center located at 360 Post Avenue
also hosts a number of great activities.
The Community Center hosts yoga
programs in the evenings. The Community

PHIPPS SPORTS CENTER 346 Post Avenue PARKS: RECREATION CAMPUS PLAYGROUND 348 Post Avenue ALPHONSE CAMPBELL PARK AKA POWELLS LANE PARK RECREATION PROGRAMMING AFTER-SCHOOL RECREATION MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM This after-school program accepts rolling admission and is
open from Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM (except when Westbury Schools
are closed for holidays, snow days, etc.). The after-school program provides a
well supervised place for the youth of our area to meet, get homework
assistance, and enjoy the variety of activities offered at the Recreation
Center. This program is for children between the ages of 6 - 12. Semi-annual membership runs from September - January
and February - June during the school year. Semi-annual fees are $250. This program is available for Village
Residents only. WESTBURY SUMMER ARTS RECREATIONAL PROGRAM The camp program is designed for children entering grades
1-8 who have an interest in arts and enjoy exploring their creativity and
self-expression. Westbury Arts will present an arts-driven curriculum that will
include art, dance, music and more. Registration has begun. The required application form, check
or cash for the appropriate fee, copies of current immunization records and the
child’s birth certificate (if not already on file) must be submitted at the
time of registration. The program runs for 6 weeks, from mid-July to mid-August.
Monday - Thursday from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Lunch will be provided. There is an
optional extended recreational camp (no fee) from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. The fee is $125 per week for residents ($200 per
week non-resident). There is a two-week minimum. Transportation to and from the program must
be arranged by the parents. Space is
limited. No refunds will be issued. No spots will be held until paid in full. BOCCE CLUB Annual sessions for adults ages 18+ begin in September and
the schedule is set by the participants. The annual fee is $60 for Village
Residents and $80 for Non-Residents. Admission is ongoing. BOXING CLUB The M. Phipps Sports Center, 346 Post Avenue, is home to the
Dennis Dillon Corner Man's Foundation aka Westbury Boxing, an independent
organization. Please call the Recreation Office at 516-334-5560 for details. KARATE CLASSES Karate classes are run by an independent instructor for a
fee. Please call the Recreation Office
at 516-334-5560 to sign up. TABLE TENNIS PING PONG CLUB This program is available for youth and adults and runs on
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 9:00 PM (excluding holidays) in the
Recreation Center. Annual membership starts in January. The annual fee is $40 for Village Residents
and $60 for Non-Residents. Have fun and make new friends. Admission is ongoing. YOGA CLASSES Yoga classes are offered by an independent instructor for a
fee on Mondays from 5:30 - 6:45 PM in the Community Center, 360 Post Ave. You
