"WESTBURY HISTORY IN STRIDE" a Walking Tour - View it below.
Calling long-time area residents!
We need your help with some of our historical photographs. We have numerous early 1900 class photos from Westbury schools in which many people are not identified. We also have more recent photographs from the 1970's and 1980's of Westbury Village activities, which need identification. If you can give us some of your time to look at these photographs, please come to the cottage or call the library at 333-0176 and speak to Thomas Hoffman to arrange a more convenient time.
The historical society is participating in the Library of Congress' Oral History Project of interviewing veterans and war workers. Anyone interested in participating should contact the historical society.
The society is also doing oral history interviews with Westbury, New Cassel, Old Westbury and Carle Place residents. Come in and tell us your stories.
